Stamplajolla.com Technique Sheet
Sugar Beads/Sugar Dust & Beadable Embossing Tape
The Sugar Dust (or Beads) and Beadable Embossing Tape are very easy to use and give your art work a dramatic effect. Use a photograph or stamp and color your image using any ink, chalks, etc. Do not emboss with embossing powder, because you want a flat surface. Cut a piece of beadable embossing tape and pull off the white backing. Lay the tape over the image and press down on the blue liner, smoothing out the air bubbles. You may then want to trim the tape and image to be exactly the same size. Then at one of the corners, carefully pull up the blue liner to expose the clear tape and pour on the beads or dust. Mount the beaded photo or image on your card or project for a terrific look.
Static Magic
Static Magic is a perfect way to avoid having an "over-sprayed" look to your embossed images. Before embossing, gently wipe the Static Magic bag over your paper, then stamp and emboss as usual. Your embossing powder will only be on your stamped image, not on the paper surrounding it.
Peerless Transparent Watercolors
Peerless Dry Sheets can be used for original art work, photography, greeting cards, rubber stamping, and many other projects. They are absolutely transparent and self blending. Peerless flows evenly and smoothly and when combined will form an unlimited number of shades and tints.

Basic Instructions:    Product is highly concentrated. Intensity is controlled by adding more or less water. Moisten applicator with water and touch sheet to pick up color. A dry sheet does not require large quantities of water to discharge the color. When finished let individual sheets dry before storage.
Watercolor Brushes
Easy to use. Great for travel. Available in four tip sizes and listed in our catalog. Just fill the barrel with water and you're ready to watercolor.
Stained Glass Images

    a. Stamp your image on vinyl using Staz-on ink.

    b. Fill in each area of the image with Stamp La Jolla Glittering Glue and cover glue with glitter. Repeat with each color of glitter.

    c. When the glue dries, all you will see is the glitter!

    Tips:

It’s best to wait a few minutes between colors so the glue can “set up” a bit. I do this by working on four images at a time and rotating them.

A glue made for glitter must be used or you will see a film of glue under the glitter once it has dried.

This technique works well with embossed images, but you will need to use an acetate that can be heated.
